Ultra-Thin Gold

PQL HiTUS technology is able to sputter deposit ultra-thin gold coatings that possess both the electrical conductivity and transparency required to make them a viable transparent conductor for thin film applications. The coating process delivers a suitably high coating rate for commercial application, despite running at low plasma powers and therefore minimising substrate plasma damage or heating concerns.

• Conductivity: 16 ohm/square
• Optical transmittance: 75% peak
• Temperature: Ambient
• Process time: 25 seconds
